Phoenix Rising United Church of Christ is a Christ-Centered community that celebrates our belonging to God and each other. In the spirit of God’s love we recognize the uniqueness of every individual as God’s beloved child bound together in Christ whether we know it or not. We seek to create a community of caring where all know they are welcomed

and included no matter race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, physical and mental ability or economic circumstance. Where all are given equal opportunity to participate in the full life and ministry of the church: including, worship, sacrament and other rites. 

We seek to respond faithfully to God’s call for justice for all creation. We seek to live our lives following in the ways of Jesus who turned no one away.  We endeavor to model his compassion and acceptance in word and in deed with the help of God and each other. We believe that when we engage with Jesus seriously, it doesn’t take long to recognize that we are drawn into relationship with other people.    We invite you to come and discover what it means to belong and be fully accepted as a child of God.
